Dad's Favorite Meatloaf

2TBS Butter

1 Cup finely chopped onion.

1 rib celery finely chopped.

1 carrot finely chopped.

1 bunch finely chopped green onion.

3 cloves garlic minced.

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2/3 cup ketchup

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef chuck

3/4 lb. pork sausage

2 large eggs slightly beaten.

1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

Directions: preheat oven 350 degrees F Position rack in middle of oven.

sauté vegetables in butter in pan with lid 5 minutes without lid 5 minutes with lid stir frequently.

Add 1/3 cup ketchup and 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce cover and cook another minute. Remove from heat and let cool by spreading on a plate,

In a large bowl mix ground beef, sausage, eggs, breadcrumbs, and vegetables then place in loaf pan and cover with 1/3 cup ketchup.

Place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until internal temp is 155 degrees.
